DRAMA, INTRIGUE, LUST, REDEMPTION

The story behind Chrisoda is a dramatic tale of two people slaving over formulations, keeping Chrisoda on the healthy side and getting it into the hands of people who might like it. The back-story includes global treks, true (albeit late) love, old watering holes and even the whispering ghosts of the English country-side.

And while all that may be, to varying degrees, true, the actual reason Chrisoda exists is this: Founders Christine and James wanted to make a good-for-you drink that didn’t taste like punishment.

 
 

Why drink Chrisoda?

We wanted a drink with great flavour, made with a process and ingredients we feel good about. Something you could have at the bar or a party instead of booze and not feel like you were making a sacrifice.  A drink you could chug after a workout or sip slowly while watching Netflix. Did we get there?  You’ll have to decide for yourself.  Here’s six things to think about:

1 We start with real, cold pressed juice, NEVER concentrate. 

2 We add organic Ontario apple cider vinegar. Enough said.

3 Lower sugar content (and it’s organic, fair trade cane sugar).  No artificial sweeteners here. 

4 Flavour, flavour, flavour! Combining real juice, tart apple cider vinegar and a little sugar creates a tasty beverage which is beyond refreshing.

5 Very low carbonation adds just a tickle instead of too many bubbles. Who wants too much Bublé. Sorry - couldn't resist.

6 We’re local. We live in Scarborough Ontario and our facility is in the Leaside neighbourhood of Toronto.  We use Ontario inputs and providers whenever possible.
